Scratching my head......I thought Jackson Robinson had exclusive rights to Sherlock on playing cards....SOOOOO confused..
Maybe that's why they used "Sherlock Holmes Based" and animals.
Quoting from the project page, emphasis in red is mine:
There hasn't been a character in fiction that has had the same impact on the world as Sherlock Holmes. This first playing card project from Tabitha Grace Smith (aka Tabz) brings the world of Sherlock Holmes from text to playing cards. A playful parody on the Sherlock Holmes fandom featuring the Sherlock characters as animals. Artwork by Mindy Lou Hagan. The First Amendment protections of free speech are pretty broad when it comes to parody or satire. The issue at hand would be "Does this qualify as either parody or satire?" Don't ask me, I'm not a lawyer...
