Black and white kills it for me.  And some of the photos appear like negatives - bad conversion from CMYK to RGB?

The only thing I really like about this deck is that the hearts kind of look like real hearts which made me think, has anyone made a "literal" deck of cards? (the suits were pictures of what they actually are)

I knew Don would know of something.  Too bad it's all zombified and that the diamonds are brains and not diamonds.

I wonder if the copyright/trademark lawyers are going to bite on this considering these monsters are pretty close rip offs of the original Universal monsters. Like direct copies of the Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney and Boris Karloff characters that Universal owns.

When I created my monster deck I specifically went with generic monsters to avoid the nonsense that happened with The Army Men Deck. Plus I also requested info from Universal on this matter and I was told that the characters from the movies are still protected and owned  by Universal. Going through the process to use the actual monsters in the Universal franchise was going to be a long and expensive process.

Hopefully they have covered their butts.

The aces looks ok, i think the joker is nice. But as Don said, the black and white kinda brings the deck down for me as well. Maybe trying to tie up with the "classic" theme like black and white movies? I just feel there are too much grey space which makes the deck look very dull. Playing with white instead of grey might make it better?

I seriously doubt they did.

It would be a start.  Right now the deck is nearly as exciting as looking at used dishwater.
