  • Where's Jerry?
I would never use these but something about the design is really pleasing to my eyes, in the way that the Ogma illusion cards are.

The cards are nice but the tuck boxes could use some work.

I agree. I liked them until I made it down to the tuck pic.

I am not a fan of the box or the backs. The fronts are nice though.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

  • Facebook:
Artistically, they're eye-catching - and very reminiscent of the Black Book of Cards.  They're a bit on the garish side, though - that's the eye-catching part.

The boxes are as exciting as watching paint dry.

The backs of the white and black decks are almost like optical illusions, and not in a good way.  As a poker set, they'd be a little tough to tell apart until somebody draws five sevens!  It reminds of of the KEM World Poker Tour boxed set - for some ridiculous reason, they chose two backs that were nearly identical in color and completely identical in pattern, rendering the set as very hard to use for a poker game.  They wouldn't have this issue if they increased the scale of the pattern, zooming in a bit as it were, making the inverse color pattern more obvious.

Ha I did not even notice that this had to different colors for the decks. thought they both were the same.

All i see is a copy of black book of cards. I'm not saying the designer copied it, just saying the 2 are so identical in certain ways.

And that, good sir, is precisely the point I was making...  :))

I thought, at first glance, that this WAS the same deck as Black Book.  It's just that close.  Obviously this designer likes the aesthetic but was less keen about the words all over it - and honestly, I prefer it without the words.

I thought the back design looked a lot like the sultan republic no. 2 deck, but that might just be me.

It's more like the love child of Republic No. 2 and Bee Diamond Back.

I really want to like these, I can see so many hours of work in this deck, but not sure I can.
Perhaps it's the lack of colour, or the boredom from back of the cards, and the box doesn't relate to the cards at all.
It is not the worst deck out there right now, so they have that going for them.

IMO - interested if the suits in the corner were larger, and the suits and numbers were coloured to be set aside from the rest of the card, how this would change the look of the cards.

The faces really pop out, but I would have liked to see the whole design tie into each other with a similar back. Overall I like the deck, as the faces are really unique.
