Artistically, they're eye-catching - and very reminiscent of the Black Book of Cards. They're a bit on the garish side, though - that's the eye-catching part.
The boxes are as exciting as watching paint dry.
The backs of the white and black decks are almost like optical illusions, and not in a good way. As a poker set, they'd be a little tough to tell apart until somebody draws five sevens! It reminds of of the KEM World Poker Tour boxed set - for some ridiculous reason, they chose two backs that were nearly identical in color and completely identical in pattern, rendering the set as very hard to use for a poker game. They wouldn't have this issue if they increased the scale of the pattern, zooming in a bit as it were, making the inverse color pattern more obvious.
