Thank you, I can't wait!

As far as premium playing cards go, $3.99 for JR cards is like finding a Picasso for $50 at a flea market...a fantastic deal! No one can complain about picking up your art for that price! :-)

Hey guys! Just got some really cool news form USPCC. The days sales are not even over yet and the Civil War Set is the best selling first day release in USPCC history.

Thanks guys for your support!

Good grief.  How many did USPCC make for $3.99 a piece.  I'm betting at least 15,000....

Congrats, Jackson! I received mine yesterday and they are really great looking cards that will sell well at retail, and likely get more folks into card collecting!

I'd say more than that.  I'm assuming that they were made in bulk, which means they'd use the web press.  The web press takes rolls of paper that can print about 11,000 decks (now you know where the 10% overages can come from in a larger deck order).  Instead of making 15,000, they'd make a multiple of 10,000.  10,000; 20,000; 30,000 - unless, of course, they used the sheet-fed press.  But I just have a feeling they didn't use the sheet-fed press, not for an order of this size.

Just because a deck is run in large numbers doesn't mean the web press is best suited for the job. As for the Civil War deck and my other decks the sheet fed press is mandatory as the webpress does not have as fine registration as the sheet fed press. The Web press is best for simple designs with 2-3 spot colors not 4color CMYK jobs, with very fine line work.

This was a huge run of decks as it will be going out to retail outlets shortly.

What a different volume and a standard tuck make. I ended-up paying $3.15 a deck (including shipping) by buying 6 half-bricks with my 808 renewal discount. These are now my goto cards for taking to a bar or going camping. They are so inexpensive I'm almost going to feel guilty giving them out as gifts.

Jackson, is there a follow-up USPCC deck planned? I gotta believe that they are pleased, and that your Tally-Ho deck is giving them ideas. It would be fantastic if you could refresh one of their standard decks.

On Tuesday the Limited Edition Civil War decks will be delivered. If all goes well with our quality control check I will be releasing 300 - 2 Deck sets this Saturday August 16th at 12 pm Central time. I will have a solid confirmation most likely by Wednesday.

The two deck sets will be $30 and you will receive both a LTD North Deck, sealed and numbered and a LTD South Deck, sealed and numbered. There are a total of 1500 sets produced however only around 900 will be sold on my website to the playing card community the rest I will be saving for my followers that are Coin and Currency collectors. Those decks will be available at the coin and paper money shows that I attend, like the one I am at now in Chicago.

Yes the tuck case will be made with normal Kings Wild premium matte card stock with embossing and foiling. It will also have the original custom metallic foil seal I designed for the deck but that USPCC omitted in with the standard versions. It will also have a metallic foil circular seal that will be numbered.

Basically the LtD versions are how I originally designed them before we had to make budget cuts to keep the price down for USPCC

I will have to go for the limited edition ones (not complaining!) as I'm fairly certain there isn't anywhere near me in UK where they will stock the others. Look really awesome Jackson!

Let the speculation begin!

Civil War............................................Done
American Revolutionary War ............Done

WWI..................................................?
WWII.................................................?
Korean Conflict.......Vietnam.............?

or maybe older....Texas Revolution/Battle of Alamo...?

Not that this is a confirmation or a denial of anything, but speculating with only relations to conflicts seems a bit limiting to me. I'd honestly love to see more series based on classic novel series like Sherlock.

Doing war-based designs can be interesting because you have a built-in excuse for making two decks!

Why don't we get into semi-fictional wars too. Jackson, do a series on Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Boom, you just delivered a product that >1 billion people would snap up and cornered the entire asian market at the same time. Just send me a brick or two when you're swimming in cash from this idea.

For those that don't know what the Three Kingdoms are or don't understand the significance of it:

Not jumping in to the speculation part of it, but the idea of Texas War of Independence series would be nothing short of an ambitious and epic project. Super cool idea!

I will for sure be doing a Texas Independence deck in the future. I myself being a "Born in Texas, Die in Texas" guy it has a very dear place in my heart. William Barrett Travis is my middle name, name sake. Jackson Barrett Robinson.

My Limited Edition Civil War Decks are being finished this week and will most likely ship next week. I then will have to hand apply all of the numbered seals like on the HIVE decks. If all goes as planned they will available exclusively on my website for immediate delivery on either Aug 9th or 13th. Bicycle and I wanted coordinate our releases around the same time.

FYI: They will not be $3.99 per deck though DANG! thats a good price I already picked up some off the site. :)

Jackson, any update on when the LE Civil War decks will be available on your website?
