Hi everyone. We'll make a more in-depth post later on, but I wanted to pop in briefly this morning.
First off, thanks to everyone for your support! We know that things with the launch didn't go 100% smoothly, but rest assured, we will be working non-stop until things get resolved.
Of course the crazy shipping rates were a glitch. We're crazy, but not that crazy! Problems are being resolved quickly, and all emails will be addressed.
If you have a problem with your order, the best thing to do is email shipping {at} thebluecrown.com (in a standard email address format) to make sure you're taken care of. We appreciate feedback on Facebook and on the forums, but going through official email channels is the best way to ensure that things are being dealt with in the quickest way possible.
Overall, the site was down for a very short period of time. The Black Crowns and some other items were pulled during the outage, so they definitely did not go out of stock while the site was down.
I can not emphasize enough how many sleepless hours Alex, our webmaster Nick, and the rest of the team have been putting in to make everything as smooth as possible and to resolve any problems quickly. These guys strive for perfection and will not rest until everything is right.
