RARE! Aviator Playing Cards

Each deck is sealed with a government issued tax stamp (they have never been opened). This dates the decks to c.1940-1965.

Edition: Bridge 913

There are 12 decks total: 6 BLUE & 6 RED

$6 per deck (or $10 per blue/red pair) + shipping to wherever you are

Take the whole lot and get the brick box bottom they came in.

Thank you for looking!

Any discount for buying the entire brick?  I'm interested.

BTW: we generally refer to that seal as simply being a tax stamp.  The cancellation of the stamp wasn't done by the government; it was done by the manufacturer to insure that the stamp couldn't be re-used.

Done.  You can PM me your PayPal account information so I can pay you.  What is your shipping method of choice?

The reason for the distinction in terms for tax stamps is that there's a special stamp that the US military used shortly after World War II that allowed certain decks to be sold without the payment of the tax but solely for the use of the military.  That would be a real "government" stamp, right there.  And not all tax stamps are government issued.  The government permitted some card companies to create custom versions of the tax stamp that incorporated the company name and/or logo.
