Does anyone have any more information when the kickstarter will be opened for this?

If you read this post below, you'll discover that there probably won't be a Kickstarter project for this, but something different instead...

I'm very disappointed with the redesigned card back.  It was an elegant simple design - now it's lost in an explosion of feathers and color, as if someone used a pack of firecrackers to blow up a feather boa and a box of markers...

I agree with that Don, I like the original design more. Glad I managed to grab a proto!  :D

@Don - I'm glad she changed the back.  I like my women skinny, but damn she needs a big steak and loaded baked potato.  I actually suggested a feather badge in all four corners and have some negative space between the elements yet she chose an "explosion of feathers"  I like that description Don.  Surprisingly, she is doing quite well right after Jackson.  31% first day....

I like the deck quite a bit. While it's not something that I would put to a lot of use, I enjoy the look of it. Thinking of bumping my pledge a bit more and gifting several of these over the next year. I don't think it's surprising they're doing well, they're beautiful cards and it is an interesting deck from the ground up. Definitely a lot to enjoy with this one. :)
Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

I may be a playing card newbie, but I am a professional graphic designer with over 13 years experience. I love the back design, and I agree with one of the comments about possibly some embossing there, if the budget permits. Maybe some foil in the tuck would liven it up a bit, but overall I like the minimalist approach. The AoS is a bit weird for me - but I can think of a ton of deck designs that have some weirdness to them. It's what makes them stand out in a crowded sea of decks out there. As far as the use of white space as it effects fanning, I think this is a non issue. If the artist posted this deck as a fanning deck, and was marketing it as such, maybe you'd have an argument. But this deck is a clever artistic take on a fresh idea. Overall, I give it a solid A.

My last comment was made prior to seeing the redesign. I have to say, I liked the white space, but I actually do like this more. Great job!

This deck is stunning and beautiful. It is not cluttered, it is unique, and it has been customised just right. The back is inspired and well, I love it!

Thanks for coming by.  Perhaps you could consider making a new edition of your deck with the original back?  I found that design to be very pleasing to the eye.

Yep I still agree on the original back. I'm hoping my proto deck might have the first design. The new one looks slightly forced with the feathers around the edge, but still great overall.

@luxplayingcards - I don't see any pips or number cards.  Are you using the same pip for number cards like your aces.  That would be nice.  On your Kickstarer present them.  You might get more backers....
