Hey, no one seems to be talking about it and I figured someone else out there must know about it, but...

CW Network has been showing some magic series!

At present, they have "Masters of Illusion", which appears to be all stagework, and "reruns" of "Penn and Teller: Fool Us".  Check your local listings.

Wizard Wars is starting on the SyFy channel, Aug 19th 10/9c for all you American fellows. Assuming UK guys can watch it too as we get SyFy. Not too sure about anyone else.

Produced by Rick Lax and Justin Flom. Judges panel will be headlined by Penn & Teller, the beautiful Christen Gerhart and the very talented Jason Latimer.
SHOGUN Playing Cards coming soon to Kickstarter

Technically I dont think they are reruns, they never aired in america. They have been bought from the uk company and are now being aired here.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

...hence the reason why I placed the word in quotes.  Many people here have been catching at least snippets of the show on YouTube, so to them it would feel like reruns.

You're a little light on the details, there.  "Version of mind freak?"  Is it CALLED "Mind Freak?"  "Close Up Kings" - what network?  When?

TruTV has a funny show called "the Carbonaro Effect" - but it does get a little tired after a while.  He uses magic to perform practical jokes on people, typically in a store setting where he's pretending to be a clerk.  Part of the "getting tired" part is that the settings are typically what appear to be small-town shops and everyone has a Georgia accent but the magician, owning to it being entirely produced in Georgia.  (The state, not the former Soviet republic.)  The reactions are fun the first several times, but after a while you practically know what to expect.  The tricks are nice, but many can be figured out to some degree if you're a magician.  I even caught a glimpse at a secret passage he created for one trick, allowing him to show up somewhere other than where he started, but only because I knew what to look for.

...and it's been available from pay-per-view and membership streaming services and on DVD (probably also BluRay) for months.  It's a good movie, for sure, and I'll grant you this is the first TV screening from a free broadcast channel, but even so - to be THIS excited?  I never see you jump up and down when a new version of "the Expert at the Card Table" comes out!  :))
