Two of the powerhouses combine forces for good! Jackson, Randy, do you guys want to take my order now, or do you want me to actually wait for the formality of releasing the full design details?! ;-)

while I'm sure Randy or Jackson will comment, Kings Wild "Funded" would most likely mean Randy is doing a solo crowdfunded project through Jackson's platform, not necessarily that they are designing together. I'm glad to see Randy step out from doing work through HOPC or Blue Crown and do something on his own. :)

Paul nailed it! This is my first solo project.

After posting the Midnight / KW Funded teaser, I have changed direction on the quantity / pricing strategy - inspired by Don's "Playing Card Bubble" thread. The original plan was 1,500 Limited of each Deck (a pair), individually numbered seal stickers, priced around $14 MSRP per Deck. My new strategy is open-ended print numbers (during the campaign), no seal stickers (I prefer Tucks without them), priced around $9 MSRP per Deck (much lower for higher quantity orders).

The lower price would still contain lots of bling on the Tucks - Foil, Metallics, Embossing... We're still working on whether it will be through KW Funded or if I switch it over to Kickstarter. Seeing as I would need as many eyes as possible with the new pricing strategy, I'm leaning towards Kickstarter. I would use KW Fulfillment either way!

I'm pretty sure there will be a little more info going up today on Kardify today.

thanks, Randy

This will be a great project no matter where he funds it. I'm happy to work with Randy in any capacity.

This is awesome, looking forward to what you have.  It's promising to see somebody going the lower price, more volume route.  However, if it's $9 plus $4 shipping for a single deck that's just $1 less than a $14 shipped KS deck and would be missing the point...  I do agree that seals are just silly for those of us that open it and for those that keep it on a shelf I can't image it really adds anything for very many, always puzzled me with how so many projects put so much focus on that (even to the point of a seal swap means ULTRA RARE).

I usually don't share this much info, but I'll take the chance. Here's the Pledge Rewards breakdown I have planned out. This would be the price for U.S. KS backers. INT. Backers would, of course, have a little extra shipping fees. I'm basing the $11 tier as $9 + $2 shipping.

thanks, Randy

I'll wait to show any Cards until it gets close to launch, but here's a Higher Res version of the Tucks Render. The Tucks will use a smooth matte White Stock, Blue / Orange Foil, Metallic Gold and Pantone Black. It will also have Embossing and some selective areas of UV Varnish. I'll have a Stretch Goal for a 1-Color Interior printed design (Blue / Orange Metallic Ink).

thanks, Randy

Pricing. Check.
Tuck. Check.

Will these have custom court cards or the Legends court cards? (please say custom court cards...)

I just noticed "Printed by Legends Playing Card Co" on the side... and so I'll definitely be in for a brick.

As always, incredible artwork Randy -- you're the real deal!

Hey Nurul,

I'm on my way out the door, so I'll just copy and paste a post I did on UC the other day after a similar question:

I'm pretty much ready to go. I'm waiting out a few things first (Seasons KS launch, LUXX pre-order, T11 Decks, Army Deck KS launch, Gatorbacks, Sawdust KS launch, HOPC White ORNATE release... — it's a crowded time!). This year's Labor Day is almost like the new Black Friday.

I know what date I'm shooting for but I don't want to say it out loud yet. The White ORNATE fulfillment is taking a week or two longer than we expected, so I already had to delay my plan a bit to allow for the HOPC release getting pushed back.

Once everything comes into place, I'll go forward very quickly.

thanks, Randy

If they release in September, then I'll probably have to sell off some of the rare decks in my collection... because I don't want to miss out on these!

Midnight Cards and LPCC... great combination -- I don't think it gets any better than that brother!

They won't be released for purchase in September, they'll be launched via Kickstarter, assuming this month. So if you did pledge, you won't be charged til some time in October
