I think it does come off a little arrogant, but really the company is allowed to run their business however they want.  Some companies prefer to surf among their customers and be part of the community themselves.  Other companies (and call it pretentious if you like) do not have any desire to be a part of the community, they want to run their business and expect their customers to contact them if they have a problem, not go and complain elsewhere.

Personally, if I were running a business, I would do everything in my power to maintain an accurate view of how my customers perceived me.  That doesn't mean that I disagree with the expectation that if a customer has a problem, they will address the company in question, not just throw it out there in the community and hope to hell the person with the power to fix it sees it.

just received my brick. I really like the design of the brick box and the tuck boxes for the cards, although the tuck boxes are a but flimsy.

compared to V6's the cards feel quite a bit different. the edges have a lot of texture compared to the v6's edges which are smooth like glass. the card stock is a bit stiff too, much like the fantastique deck.
have you heard the word???

I have to check my mail, but I get the feeling they haven't shipped mine yet.  There are third-party retailers selling these blasted cards already and I have yet to see mine despite pre-ordering them.

I finally got a shipping confirmation, followed by an email from Syd.  My order's been broken into two shipments because they were not in stock on the bottle openers and the Bee Acorns.  Those will ship before end of week.

Oh, I really like those suits, I'm excited to be getting mine with the signed uncut sheet. By the way, doesn't this remind anyone of the English Laundry pips? Those were out of this world crazy!

I really like this deck, and I think it's possible that in 4-5 years this will get high price.

I think that's true for most of the decks coming out around this time. They all seem to be limited and that means that they will only increase in value over the years. This deck will increase in price, but I think that it will be less expensive than other decks. The Fulton's weren't as popular. If you compared the Fulton's, Vortex, and The Americana deck in 5 years I think that the Fulton's would be the least expensive. (I'm not trying to start an argument over that hypothetical). The deck is still in stock and there are many other decks coming out lately that are nicer and have a higher demand.

In 5 years though a lot of today's decks will be pricey.

Going to a 1920's themed party tonight, totally bringing this deck with me.  I adore them.

Finally received my decks today! I only bought 2, one to play with and one to keep sealed, but I am really quite enjoying the deck so far. I love the tuck box and the art design in general. I do agree the edges were a bit rough out of the box, but after using them for a little bit they feel much better.

Fultons are one of those decks that really grabbed my attention. The pips, specifically... Beautiful. I'll have to get a few of them, but for now money is tight with all the christmas shopping... :-\

I just got mine today.  Waited for a UK site to get some in.  Honestly?  I don't think they're great.  I really like the box, as flimsy as it is but the art isn't their best stuff but it's still good.  The handling is where it really falls down IMO.  They feel like standard Bikes, nothing special at all and worst of all, thy wouldn't make it through a poker night; the durability on these things is terrible.  Seriously, just playing about handlign with these things and they're all bent out of shape completely.  Not good enough, IMO especially after how damn good the S&M decks are.

You guys didn't dump your D&D raffle tickets yet, did you?  There's a second drawing on the 27th for any unclaimed prizes!

I'm actually thinking they're Bee stock, not Bikes.  But it's probably the Bee stock used for over-the-counter decks as opposed to the casino-grade stuff, Kanped, if you're having trouble with durability.  "Cambric Finish" is never used on decks other than Bee stock decks.  (Either that or you're very hard on your decks!)

Hmmm... now that you mention it, the exact same durability problems do tend to happen on my standard Bees.  In saying that, their casino grade stock is far and away my favourite for feel and durability.  I have more durable decks, sure, but not that can handle like the Bees.  I did get the green Erdnase diamond back deck in the same package and they handle and hold their shape fantastically.  Pretty sure that's the Bee casino stock.
