At first glance I like this, then I do not. It just seems a bit mediocre and the same as so many others. Almost reminds me of the ornate deck a bit. Really love the details and I can see a lot of work in this deck. Love, love love the back of the card that is awesome. The AoS is great too.

The deck's not bad, really, but it's not exactly lighting a fire under my butt to go get one, either.  It does have a somewhat generic feeling to it.

It reminds me of the remake of "Psycho" - the director did a word-for-word, scene-for-scene imitation of the original, leading one to ask, "Why?  So many possible options, and you settle for a slavishly-perfect copy?"

Odd as it sounds, this deck is too close to standard to provoke interest for me.  But if anyone out there likes the art, more power to you - technically, the deck's as well made as any USPC standard deck.

The detailing is indeed great, but I am not really liking the colour. The creamish/yellowish colour makes the whole deck look very dull IMO.

It's similar to the background of all cards center area in a jumbo-index deck, or at least the Bicycle Jumbo Index deck.  I'll give the artist points for making a more realistic set of garments on the court cards.  I do find the shapes of the suit pips a little odd-looking.  The diamonds' straight lines appear a little bowed inward, the clubs look like a hybrid between International and French standard, the hearts straight lines are bowed outward and the spades look similarly overweight.

I think I have a bead on what bothers me about the design.  There's many standard elements, but enough of them are different from standard as to be a little off-putting.  The differences themselves only add up, however, to a barely modified deck.  It's not entirely standard, but it feels short of custom as well.

Ah, maybe it's just me...

Lots of great detail in the courts.  I don't mind the pips, actually I quite like them.  But, for some reason, it just doesn't grab me, as a whole.  The tuck is a little too "pieced together" as in the elements don't gel well.  Can't quite put my mind on it.  Maybe too sharp of transitions between the parts.  The contrasting colors don't work?  I don't know...  I want to like it.  The sum of the parts just doesn't add up to enough for me to need this deck.

Maybe a total recolor might pique my interest.
