This message is targeted to a select few.

I purchased a brick of the Black Crowns with the purpose of reselling some of them.  I heard some complaints that a few people were shut out when they tried to buy or got skittish when the shipping calculated was through the roof.

While I did say I was reselling some, I didn't say I had to sell them at market rates!

I'm willing to part with some decks at $20 a pack, limit two per customer, first three people who respond, trades will be considered.  But there's a catch...

The only people allowed to take advantage of this offer are the people who posted they got shut out of the sale on the "NEW DECK - Black Crown Deck" forum between the time the deck sold out and the time of this posting.  By my calculations, the list includes:

If any of you three are interested, PM me.  Funds paid in US dollars, either PayPal or a postal money order accepted.  You pay shipping, method of your choice - my preference is US Postal Service.  You're also on your own for any import duty/tax you may be charged if you're out of the country.  If you aren't on my list and feel you should be eligible, PM me with the reason why and I'll consider it.  Offer expires in just under a week - 12:01am Sunday, 4 December 2011, New York standard time.

I just wanted to do you guys a favor, let you have the deck you wanted and make only a modest profit, since if this is anything like Red Artifice they're likely to trade for at least $50 a pack.  Alex, I might be willing to trade for a few extra Vortex decks or other Vortex-related goodies!

Actually, I don't collect uncut sheets.  If you have some interesting decks I don't already have, I'll consider those.  Depending on trade value, I might even part with something like a Gold Arcane or a Red Artifice as well.  Reply via PM, please.

Let me know as soon as you can.  I know it sucks to get shut out like that.  When Red Artifice went up I got a brick in the nick of time, but was chatting via E's FB page with a young girl magician from Mexico who really wanted to get some but lost out.  I offered to sell her some of mine super-cheap but she had trouble getting the payment arrangements set up.  With this one, it was as bad if not worse in some ways - not only was the deck mega-popular, but a software glitch was causing major miscalculations on shipping, causing some people to cancel purchases who would have otherwise bought them.

So from now on, when a deck release turns sideways and pear-shaped, we can call it a "Black Crown" instead of a "Red Artifice"!
