Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Just in case your wondering how much kr100 SEK is in USA.  It's about $13.41. That is the price for one of his playing card decks in the category Product Design.  No card images.  I would say a very poor start.   :bosswalk:

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

Merely a "poor start"?  I wouldn't even call it a start at all!  It's a joke!

For a simpler rule of thumb on converting this currency, a US dollar is equal to barely less than 7.50 Swedish kronor (7.47kr exactly at the end of the most recent trading day that Google tapped for info).  So 30 kronor is about 4 bucks.  Considering that we have a stable currency at the present and that Sweden is almost Prozac-stable when compared to the rest of the world, the rate likely won't change much.

Not that it matters, 'cause I find it hard to believe that anyone here would drop so much as a wooden krona on this project...

It's "funny" start  :) I have to agree with this

:D :D "The coolest deck in the world"

the best presentation also...

I assume that the creator is this student from Sweden
Daniel Olsson: http://www.behance.net/darniel
He has artistic skills, IMHO. But I doubt about his managerial abilities.

Also this can be an attempt of defamation. It's cool that Kickstarter approves such projects. We all can see how seriously they fight with scams on their site.

  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.
Someone agrees very vocally on the comments page with us here.
Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

The people who handle playing cards are always in a world of delicate fingertip technology.

If this is him, the age could be reason also for the non-existent business side set up.

People really should spend a bit more time before launching a project. I would like to give him the benefit of doubt and assume its not a scam.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

Saw his Behance profile - this looks like a kid still in middle school!  Whatever happened to "projects by adults only?"  KS blindly ignores their own rules so often they probably thought he was 65 or something...

What?  You read it on the Inter-Webs?  Well then - it HAS to be true!!!  Just like if it was in the newspaper, on TV or sloppily written on my toilet paper...

I gave a project the bennifit of the doubt once and assumed it wasn't a scam. Key word there, Once. Cause guess what? Yea, it was a scam haha. I lost my $7 and ended up buying the guy, or girl, lunch.

Whether this particular one is a scam or not, not for me to say. I can say I absolutely won't pledge on this. May as well have called it Red Flag in my opinion. Would get the same reaction out of me. I don't think this project will fund, if it does, I don't think he'll fulfill it. There is nothing there, at all.
Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

Comparing his goal to the cost of making cards at USPC and shipping them all over the world, there's no way he could fulfill this unless he made up the difference out of his own pocket or his project earned perhaps ten times more than its goal.  That's an exceptionally rare thing to occur.

He has - the list is so loooooooong...  This entire project is nothing but mistakes piled one on top of another - climb them and you might reach the ISS in time for lunch...
