Is this category, in regards to decks not funding, do U mean decks that have gone right to the end of the project and not successfully funded? Or projects that have been cancelled by the project creator?

Both circumstances indicate a deck didn't get funded.  Either choice would apply.  However, if a failed or canceled deck was relaunched in a new crowdfunding project and succeeded this year, it's not eligible.

No, he had some prototypes made up and I think sold a few, but the crowd funding was done on CardLauncher as Good deck with Evil deck as a rider/add-on.  That failed, along with possibly that entire site.  He's re-doing both later in 2015, but separately now.

Just a quick update on the Evil/Good Deck.
I decided with Expert Playing Cards to start printing only the Evil Deck. Unfortunatley it will be ready only in early 2015 (jan/feb). The Good Deck will be produced after the Evil. Stay tuned, I will keep this thread updated when I have more accurate informations.

Although in looking at a more recent response, he seems to suggest that he might directly sell Evil deck now with Delerium when his online store opens in a few days.

Hi ecNate, no no Evil Deck is not dead

EPCC is a bit late on this, but they are coming. We are planning to relase it with Delirium, so we can use a single shipping from factory to fullfilment center (I hope this mean the both decks will be availabe a bit early).

The only thing I'm not sure at the moment is the Good Deck. I may do a kickstarter for it in the future, or maybe EPCC will produce it automatically if the Evil Deck sales will be good.

If true (which we won't know for sure until the store opens), then I would change nomination to just be for Good Deck.  Although if Evil failed and will in a few days be converted to a direct sale then I guess it's still a crowd funded failure?

The Evil Deck won a contest held by EPCC to get produced before CardLauncher launched.  Doesn't count as crowdfunding.  Ineligible.

If there are differing opinions, I'm happy to hear them.  But if I'm not convinced, this ruling will stand.  The deck's creator gets a nomination either way, really - it's just a matter of exactly what for.

Already done.  Ironically enough, the Evil deck won't be released until early next year - it will be eligible for other rewards in next year's rewards!

I'm evaluating with EPCC what to do with the Good Deck in 2015. I may decide to crowdfund it on KS or produce it directly, like Evil Deck. Maybe this award could help it to become reality!

IMHO, the forum was in a hurry with time periods for its awards. I couldn't visit the forum that time, for example.
