I know I've seen this deck before.  I think we had a Design/Dev topic but I can't find it.

@Don - You probably saw it when you were lurking over at the UnitedCardists Here :) It's interesting to watch him take suggestions and evolve his deck into something pretty good.  :bosswalk: Have to admit his video is exceptional.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6pBvAl2x90

At one time this was called The Ritual - here's the design topic:

Hi Guys

The deck was originally called the ritual for the first attempt at getting this funded on Kickstarter, which bombed due to the costing. But not hopefully with the new design and a fulfilment company based in the US to sort things out, fingers crossed we can hit our goal.

The redesign ideas were mostly bounced off the UC forum, (sprouts1115 you get around!)

I did post on here the almost finished versions of the redesign, to which Don Boyer kindly throw some great advice my way and I (like an ungrateful fool) only took a couple of things that I liked and ignored the rest. Sorry  :)

As it was a relaunch I thought it was only right to change the deck and the name. Offering the same again on Kickstarter seemed like a FU to all the previous backers that supported the ritual. It had its turn, I messed it up and now its reborn.

Lets hope I've got it right this time

There is nothing wrong with ignoring some of my advice - or all of it, for that matter.  If you feel something's important enough to not change it and you're willing to stick to your guns, perhaps it belongs there, after all.  Not every word I say is dipped in gold and sprinkled with chocolate...

I'm not sure how kickstarter works but I had a question, if you had raised say only 8000 instead of the 9500 you have, is there a way to extend the timeline?  would you put money into the project yourself?

You have to raise the full amount then people get charged at the end of the campaign. If the full amount doesn't get pledged no one is charged and the project gets no money

That's a buzzkill for everyone involved.  Would possibly tempt me to make a lower goal to reach and then throw some stretch goals on there.  I hope this project gets funded...

Nagasaki pretty much had it right - additionally, creators are NOT permitted to put their own funding into a project in the form of pledges.  You can pony up your cash before, during or after launching, but you can't count it towards your goal or register those funds via Kickstarter to your project.  It's considered a form of fraud and is a tactic used by scammers who never intended to fulfill their project in the first place.

It's tempting to lowball on the goal, making the funds asked for a small amount.  But unless you're putting your own funds in the mix, you have an excellent chance of reaching your goal but not making enough to produce and ship your project rewards.  Such situations are never pretty.  Better to ask for what you really need - you're obligated to produce or refund (at least in theory) if you're unable to produce.

Wow, this had a HUGE relative increase the last 2 days!  I think it stands an excellent shot at funding if this keeps up.  Reminder for the rest of you, just over a week left.  I just wish I had more uncut space, this is a pretty neat deck.

If you are especially feeling feminist then you should have your hand on this deck. It has all female court and that can only be possible in a Coven. But still the ladies in your circle will respect that you own a deck as such. I do not see how it is not flooded. These courts looks amazing. I might be missing something, but it is worth your collection and for playing games with your lady friends. I have ordered four of them, two for gift, one for my collection and one for personal use. Still this project needs 1000 pounds in 5 days. I request you are to consider backing this wonderful deck.
Notice how there are 26 cards of either color in each deck, a number equal to letters in English alphabet. You can hide a message with cards in a deck if it is simple enough.

My collection is https://playingcarddb.com/mycollection?u=7189, I hope you will like it.

Being UK based doesn't seem to help projects get funded that quickly. I've seen worse US projects get double the money this needs no problem. I've been in for a couple of decks since launch of this, I love all the crows! >:(

Crows are nice yes. Plus these decks are giving a sort of extra vibe of dark energy typical to anything covens related. I bet it will be fun to have a deck like this for those night games.

I also have backed these the minute they came available and was watching the development and VERY eager to see them show up.  It would be a shame if it doesn't get funded, but odds are it will just barely make it.  So yeah, if you've been on the fence on these, NOW IS THE TIME.  Do it, do it! :D

I know that you meant well, but please check to see if there's already a topic on the deck you wish to write about, as was the case with this deck.  I've merged the topics into one.

We try keeping deck topics in the Plethora to one per deck, thus making it simpler to find information on it later, for much the same reason encyclopedias don't have two listings for the same subject in different volumes...

I am sorry about this one. I think I just looked at the first page and could not find it there. I will be more vigilant from now on. I am sorry!

Got my deck.  Love the way it feels and handles, but this is the stinkiest EPCC deck I've gotten yet.  It's a powerful, putrid, chemical smell.  Anyone else notice this?  Just curious if my nose is abnormally senstive...
