Hello everyone!

My name is Luis Salas and I am a 20 year old waiter living in Oakville, Ontario. Born and raised in Venezuela. Moved to Canada at the age of 13. Practiced magic from the age of 10 up to 17 and then drifted into cardistry/collecting. Bill Malone was my inspiration and without a doubt one of my favourite magicians out there. Looked up to him and all his work while I was practicing magic. Proud to say that my deck collection is almost at 200 different decks. Varying from Golden Nuggets, to Split Spades, Wynn's, and of course the good old Ellusionist's classics like the Black Tiger deck. Ha. Love all kinds of cards. Fan of the Buck twins too! Looking forward to sharing some card thought with all of you and perhaps setting up a few trades here and there..

Can't wait to learn from the veterans and have them drop some wisdom on this youngin'!

Sounds like you had one interesting history!  Are you still into performing?  (Or have you ever performed?)

Well thank you! It's a pleasure to be here! I'll have to dig a little more on the site and prepare a set of questions once I'm ready.

Unfortunately I'm no longer performing. Life just took over I guess. But did perform many gigs couple years back.
There's still not a day that goes by in which I don't play with a deck of cards, but magic itself is something I've been missing lately.

Who knows.. New year, anything can happen..
