I know that he's gotten his pace up since the first deck, when he was making a card per week. If he gets this up and running soon enough, he might be able to time the Kickstarter project if not actual retail sales with the 2016 Olympics! It's about a year-and-a-half away now, should be ample time.
His work is not just great - it was really ground-breaking when he first introduced it and remains impressive today. No artist has even tried to mimic his style or method, to the best of my knowledge. Perhaps they respect it too much!
