Scottish Influenced Playing Cards

Quote
Recently, I was introduced to the bagpipes of Scotland and I was so intrigued that I started to research Scotland. While I was researching I came across the castles of Scotland and their timeless design. I could only imagine the stories they cold tell if they could talk. Upon further examination, I saw the castle as a stone marvel and the age of the stone amazed me. I contemplated over how I could encompass this amazing stonework and my freind, Zack McKenna, and I came to the idea of Playing Cards, each card design is unique and the 4 suits each have influence from a different Scottish castle and the Cards are influenced by the Lochmaben Castle

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

oh dear  ???

Scotland is an amazing place. I get up there a couple of times a year on my mountain bike (mainly because they have the best downhill tracks in the UK at Innerleithen) but the mythology of Scotland just is not done justice in these drawings. And a $600 goal? What the hell are they going to be printed on?

Adorable!  One thing that I like about this is the pie chart that shows how the money will be allocated.  That should be required by kickstarter :)

A *Slightly* lower goal than the creator's first card project, which fell only $19,939 short...

"My plan is to get 10,000 decks printed"

riiiiight. Maybe over-estimated the popularity of that one a little

This is a joke right?

Like the people doing the Ham Sandwich thing?

I mean.  That worked the first time and made a fortune...

So this is the same....  Right????

I like the Mafia / Werewolf theme better than this.  I wonder why it didn't fund?   https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1992222919/mafia-werewolf-card-game?ref=users

Wait.. What!  There is coincidence, or then there is plagiarism.   But that's far beyond coincidence IMO.   :-\

It's similar to be sure, but it's also a crude drawing compared to a finished design.  When there's a finished project, perhaps Marina should consult a lawyer.  But that's unlikely to be needed, seeing as how the Pope deck is trending to reach under a third of its goal.
