Interesting - Cosmo's printing a Guarantee joker, as if it was a USPC-designed and -produced deck.

Hey Don,

I'm printing a guarantee joker which is a reveal, so there's no "as if" that you're mentioning.

Same as the Bicycle Spectrum and the Tally Ho Spectrum 2.

Thanks for posting this!

I want to let everyone know that this project is underway after knowing that fulfillment is more important than intentions, design, passion or success of a project, so I'm now partnering with gamblers warehouse on fulfillment and I'm very excited about that!

I have a local company who was set to do it but I really want to use someone who specializes and can give the backers confidence in delivery. The decks will be shipped DIRECTLY to gambler's warehouse and to the backers.

I'm committed to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to make this the smoothest process possible for every single backer!

The project is fully designed and we'll be ready to go to press asap!

We've altered the design of the EDGE deck at the request and suggestion of a backer and it now is highly influenced by the collector's and what they want.  The alteration put me back to work for almost two days but it's worth it! The deck is better for it!

Thanks to Tom aka magilkfingerz!

In the card catagory, it's #4 in popularity right now and that's amazing! Especially considering #1 is an $8.7 MILLION successful card GAME!

All the best!

Hey Don,

I'm printing a guarantee joker which is a reveal, so there's no "as if" that you're mentioning.

I figured something like that was the case.  When I got a Gambler's Deck (stripped, stacked, marked), it used a "Guarantee" joker that was actually a mnemonic device for remembering the stack order of the deck.

Technically, you'd be third.  The card game isn't technically playing cards per se, and even if it was, it's closed.  Congratulations on being in the top three!

yeah I realized that the exploding kittens doesn't qualify but I didn't want to be too "pretentious!" :-)

Thanks for the congrats!

Also the earth dragons deck is almost in a different catagory! I couldn't be more pleased to be up there either way!

All the best!

International shipping is cheaper on these. He's going to have fulfillment done by GW. Good move in my opinion.

I'm in and have been since day one. I like both of these decks, they're good fun.

Thanks Fes!
Liining up international distribution, things look really good for funding!

I would LOVE to get some input on the following:
I've had many requests to produce a deck with the same designs as the Spectrum Edge and Spectrum 52 as shown above but just ONE color back throughout, (I'm thinking traditional, red and/or blue).

due to the cost of the decks we'd start with one, which color would YOU all like to see made?

Thanks!
Coz

I think the dark red (third from right, top row) would look awesome.

Orange, haha, I'm a sucker for an orange deck Cosmo. I don't know what it is, but I see an orange deck it's an instant happy and must have.

To be completely honest though. Both decks would look great with a two color back over a single color. If going that route, retro colors warm/cool with the reverse on the other deck cool/warm. I say retro colors because they're a softer hue even though they appear bright. Easy on the eyes. Bold and modern would work well too though. There's so much you can do, the design is a lot of fun on both decks.

Will be fun to see what you decide.  :)

ORANGE??? LOL!

Well a LOT of votes would have to come in... but hey WHY NOT?

Certainly wouldn't be "typical" right?

The dark red was one of my first choices, in the prototype decks and in the bike decks IS a nice color!

We'll see!

Anything BUT the traditional red and blue please. Your deck is a fun deck that plays with the spectrum of colours. It will be "boring" to see the traditional red or blue.

I am also thinking colours like orange, lime green, or PURPLE!  ;D

I can see what you're saying about the traditional colors Purpleice!  However they're traditional because the average person does like them...
I agree with you but I have to hope that everyone else would like something out of the ordinary for a change as well!
Here's a few images...

ORANGE!

And of course...

Thoughts?
Suggestions?

Thanks!

You left green off the selection. That's a pretty popular color lately. I'm sticking with Orange though. ;)

Nope didn't leave it off there's more to come!
:-)
I just realized my first post said.. more to come! But I accidentally closed the browser and started over!

here's green...

I now have a template set up so I can apply nearly any color pretty easily, I was doing it the hard way before and it was taking forever!
