Angelarium Playing Cards

Quote
The Angelarium is a place where experiences, ideas and archetypes exist as real living entities. It's the domain of angels and emanations. Growing at its center sits the Tree of Life, a physical manifestation that reflects the whole of existence.

The Enochian deck introduces us to each of the named angels. Come back here frequently as we will continue to add more during the project:

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

These are cool.  I checked out the artist's site at http://trueangelarium.com - Niiiiiiiiiiiice.

I'm interested in this deck.

BTW: if you want a sneak peek at what the other courts will look like (though not organized with rank or suit), check out the site link above.

Any idea what the card back is supposed to look like?
Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

This deck has some awesome artwork. I was going to back the book as well so I could get a print but only if they unlock different options on the prints.

Not yet, no.  I personally prefer deck designers showing everything at once, but some like to tease it out a while.  It's the major part of the reason I haven't backed this yet.

  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.
Huge fan of this guys work as an artist for Magic TG, so excited to see him making a deck of cards. His characted design is exceptional and very reminiscent of Beksiński to me, who is one of my absolute favorite artists. Really looking forward to seeing more from this.

Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

The people who handle playing cards are always in a world of delicate fingertip technology.

Justin,
We met Pete the first time when he was signing Magic cards and we've been hooked on his art ever since. We're really looking forward to doing as much as we possibly can with him on this project since there is so much cool stuff I think we can do with his artwork.

Card backs have been shown on these. I don't know what I think of them yet, still making up my mind. Here they are though.

I think they're pretty striking, myself.  I might need to back this project.

I went ahead and backed these after I noticed the card back was on a tuck. Was an update on Bowl-A-Rama that made me go ahead and take a look at these again and ultimately pledge for a few. I prefer the Enochian card back to the other but that one's not bad either. From what I can see they look like good mirror backs, at least I don't see any one way marks yet.
