Farbschemata Playing Cards (printed by MPC)

Quote from: Mark Allender
Farbschemata /FARB-she-ma-ta/ is a deck of premium poker-sized cards utilizing different color schemes as the primary identifiers of each suit - all rendered in the classic Helvetica Bold typeface. Pips are placed in the corner of each card, bleeding off the live area.

This deck is in many ways a relaunch of a deck I created in 2013 called simply "Helvetica." For this campaign, I am using a better printer - MPC - whose quality has improved dramatically and rivals that of USPCC. I have also reverted to many of the more standard playing card conventions.

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

I actually like this one.  This guy did his homework and it's a very fresh take on typographical decks.  I like it.

I'll have to look into my finances, but this might be a keeper.

Really? I can't stand it. LOL.
The deck seems too messy for my liking. I actually wonder if there is any meaning to the texts behind or just some random lines. If it is random, i thought it would be better to use "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog".

I can't find those quotes anywhere using my google-fu, but they seem really familiar to me.

I like this deck, mainly for the weirdness and way it uses typography.

I looked up the first one and couldn't find it anywhere.  Perhaps they're original quotes?

I think this is more for uncut sheets.
