Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

Wow.  These are pretty fugly-looking.  There was a much more attractive and useful version of this deck on KS a few years ago.  Can't find it on KS now, though.  We did make a topic for it here.  Can't find that, either.

  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.
Yeah Don, ghastly. Too bad too, because I rather like the illustrations of the queens...
Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

The people who handle playing cards are always in a world of delicate fingertip technology.

Aside from the artistic choices, I don't understand the concept here. I think turning a deck of cards into a deck of dice is a pretty not good idea myself. Granted I only ever use six sided dice even so, dice are just so portable and easy to use I can't imagine this deck being of much use at all for a dice replacement. Still, nice to see they were funded. It's always good to see someone is having success.

It's ugly AND is probably off in terms of randomness.  By having all the cards have each of the polyhedrals on them, he's insuring that certain rolls on them will appear more frequently than is statistically accurate.  Only the d6 should appear on all 54 cards, as all the other numbers do not have 54 as a multiple.  For example, 10 should appear on only 50 cards, with each possible outcome shown a total of five times on different cards.  If it shows on all 54 with an as-even-as-possible distribution, whatever outcomes appear more than five times have been statistically bumped up in terms of frequency.

I could have done this deck better with my eyes closed.

I think you were looking for the Dicecards deck:

Excellent find, thanks!  That deck makes this look pretty lame by comparison.
