Have you been checking this project out?

I think Egor did a kick-ass job of making a deck that's got the Lovecraftian-type vibe blended with a steampunk aesthetic while managing to keep it unique and original.  Both genres on their own are pretty tired, but he pulls this off without slapping you in the face with it, if you catch what I'm trying to say.

But as you can see (at least as of today) the project's in need of a little love.  Come take a look!  There's been so much blah stuff on KS lately, if we don't give the good projects the boost they deserve, only the schlock will remain...

  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.
I gotta say I really do love this deck. It's not traditionally something I would be in for but the art is really strong and the sense of balance and design, from the layout of the cards to the card back to the consistant palatte really make this deck stand out. I agree with Don, it would be a shame for the gems like this to go unfunded while people are pumping out makeplayingcards.com garbage left and right.
Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

The people who handle playing cards are always in a world of delicate fingertip technology.

Hello Everyone,

Unfortunately we have had to make an executive decision to cancel this project due to lack of funding thus far. We plan to print the Strange Head Society deck in-house here at Liberty instead and will have it available for sale on playingcards.net in the near future. We will post an update on social media when the deck becomes available (Please follow us on Facebook for updates!) We truly appreciate everyone who did pledge for this deck and hope that you understand our predicament here.

Thank you

Unfortunately but bitter truth.

Thank you guys for your support.

That's not unfortunate!  That's actually good news - your deck is being printed!

Personally, I think it was premature to pull the plug on the KS project.  There's a lot more that could have been done to promote this deck and boost its backing.  They were only six days into a twenty-day campaign!
