Any Starcraft 2 fans? Esports in general?

I am not great at the game itself, just a silver/gold league zerg player, but I really am starting to find myself enjoying watching the live casted tournaments on that are played in the USA and as well as Korea. IPL 3 is currently on this weekend, really well managed and set up tournament.

Unfortunately, it seems due to a traffic accident, a large amount of the internet in Atlantic City is down, including to Caesers and Bally's which is where the event is being held. So there is a bit of down time right now.

The steaming they have set up for this event is amazing, very well though out an high quality. Also the casting and calibre of players is great. If you are of SC2 definitely check it out.

I just find this so much more entertaining than a lot of the random shows on cable.... They also have a League of Legends tournament going on as well at this IPL

I was a huge SC2 fan for a while. I got to platinum in the Season 1 ladder. I played competitive custom games in Season 2, and quit entirely several months ago to play LoL, Black Ops and now Gears 3.

I used to play a lot of games on the pc quite competitively, L4D, COD...stuff like that. But over the last year or so, my gaming time has dropped considerable amounts, I now just casually game, probably like 3 hours a week. I just enjoy watching SC2 in this layout, makes it seem more like a sporting event. Its quite entertaining.

I really liked the brief time I had err... "demoing" SC2 but it's still too expensive for what is now quite an old PC game.  I play fighting games competatively, though; been to a few live tournaments and play online.  I was the 3rd highest ranked E.Honda in Europe in SSF4AE for a little while (started 3 days after everyone else, too).  Haven't played much lately.  I'll get back into it when UMVC3 comes out in November.

Just though I would remind anyone who is interested that MLG Providence is on this weekend ( Friday through Sunday ). Its going to be one of the most epic SC2 tournaments ever, even the open bracket is stacked with top players.

I've been watching a lot of webcasts of games lately and I just started playing about a month ago. I'm not much of a gamer though, but it's great fun
