Hey there,

Took me a while to discover this forum but I've a feeling I'm going to like it.

I started collecting a couple of years ago, not too seriously, maybe with 20-30 decks.
However, since the last 6 months I've accumulated around 200-250 decks, and growing fast.

My main passion is vintage vegas decks. Golden nugget, Jerry's, Silver slippers etc.

I also collect boxes and stands, to display. Always interested in nice vintage and cool ways to display too!

Hey, Lewis, welcome aboard.

I took a peek at your collection - nice, so far!  Looks like you've also been hitting up Kickstarter - it's where most of the action is these days for new, custom decks with innovative, original designs.  It's also a great way to find unknown artists before they become the next big deal in deck design!

If you have any questions that the Search feature couldn't help with, just ask.  There's no such thing as a dumb question - a genuine quest for knowledge is NEVER dumb!  Don't let being the new guy stop you, either - you're not the only newbie here and you never know just how many people out there were seeking the answer to that very same question but lacked the courage to ask!

 We have a section of the forum that would be of interest to you, I believe.  It's called "Aces and Eights."  And it's our message board for vintage STISO posts,  that being an acronym for "sales, trades, & in search of."  However, I do recommend that you read the rules first, posted in a sticky topic at the top of that message board. There are certain prerequisites that need to be met before one can create a topic there.  If ever you were to find Golden Nugget decks or other vintage casino decks, that would be the place to look. For anything less than 20 years old, we also have an STISO board for newer decks called "the Pasteboard Bazaar."
