Was so shaking with rage yesterday. Claim's already in place. They've no idea how much they depreciated the value. This was absolute MINT condition before.

What they looked like before...

Yeah, I had dinner with Arthur Poon & Willson Wong last night and they showed me this pic. I spit my sushi out when I saw it. Very sad, indeed. My sympathies go out to you.

So so upset. Really am. Thanks Lee. Just a waiting game now. Hopefully more media get attention about this and forces DHL to really look into this.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

I have to ask - what were the exact circumstances behind this?  There's obviously a story here that has yet to be told.

(I hope you don't mind, but I'm moving the topic to the Conversation Parlor.  It's more about a shipping blunder/mishap than it is about the actual deck itself.)

No problem. Story time. I'd ordered a deck from a friend in Singapore, we'd skyped loads and I took a fancy to this deck as it was in such good condition.

Anyway, I had it sent express which cost me extra but I didn't care as I couldn't wait. I missed the delivery (not that it mattered anyway) and drove to the DHL centre local to me to collect. I waited for about 45mins as they were really really slow. Got the package, got back in the car and opened it.
You know the rest.

Anyway, it was opened in Singapore on DHL's side their end. I got the number for customer relations and a case had to be opened between seller and DHL as that is who the contract is between.

The facebook post so far has gotten a lot of attention on Singapore DHL if you look it up.

Just waiting for a claim back to the seller I think, and we'll distribute it accordingly. So far he's offered to give me half the money I paid back ($330) whilst we wait, and consider it as buying an opened deck, much to my dismay.

Anyway, they're definitely real, I know as DHL have opened them for me. B*stards. Drove home insanely mad.

I don't suppose you have the link to it?  There's more than one DHL Singapore page out there and I'm not sure which is the one, as I haven't found the post yet.

Wow, that is nuts. I have custom open boxes but never the cards themselves.

I really hope these were shipped properly. (The value and etc.) Otherwise they might not help you out. It hurts to see, very sorry this happened to you.

I got a half discount back from the seller. Who got reimbursed $150. And he also refunded my shipping. All in all I paid $150 for a brand new opened deck of jerrys. Not my preference but not a terrible deal nonetheless.

I can only imagine what went through the clerk's head when he was told that he opened a pack of cards worth over $300...  Or better yet, through his supervisor's head...
