I thought it was impossible to do a 1000 deck run.

This deck has been ordered to USPCC since August, due to many changes on the process, the decks produced last month and delivered last week only.

I don't know if they have minimum qty for custom deck now, but according the Author, this 1000 pcs cost him quiet high...

While I am not 100% on this... I am sure if the money is right, you can have a 2 deck run. They might charge you $1,000 each, but I have a suspicion that USPCC will accommodate ANY request for a price.

You're right, they do any run you ask them to, it can just cost you a butt load of money.

5,000 is the minimum to get X price while being able to do any features you want on the cards themselves.

If it's only a 500- or 1000-deck print run, and they're as costly in those quantities as I'm hearing here, especially if it's a custom run, I'm inclined to think that if this deck sees the light of day, it would be prohibitively expensive, at least for me...

Hi Guys,

The deck has just arrive this afternoon, finished unpacking, QC for each deck  and doing some cost calculation.
I hope by tomorrow we will announce the Selling price both for the Deck and Signed Uncut Sheet.

We will do our best to give you guys best price for the deck, but it not going to be cheap as it only very limited production, after deducting the Pre-orders we have only left less than 300 decks ( which 50 of them will be numbered and signed by the Author ) and about 10 uncut sheet.

I will upload more picture for the uncut sheet and detail of the cards soon.

Really $50 per deck? And they were just released?
Who made this deck? Maybe we can get it cheaper from the maker

$50 a pack, and from a seller in Indonesia.  No offense to Indonesians, but I get wary of overseas Ebay dealers in general.  In the "wild West" days of old Ebay there wasn't much by way of legal recourse if you got ripped off from overseas.  I barely trust a UK sale.  That's just me.

I think I'll pass on this, gang.

@Good@Sabacc, isn't that a reseller? I thought he mentioned that the actual seller might have them for cheaper. If you're right though, I'll also pass. 50 slaps a deck is a big hit to my wallet

I learn that there's much "powerful" playing card collector from the south east nowadays.
Mostly Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore.

I confirmed that this deck is meant to be a collectible item.
"The Bicycle Dreamcatcher" is the first edition of many "The Legacy Series" to come from the designer.
And he release to the market only 500 decks total and won't be reprint as this 1st edition.

If there's stock left from the 500 decks they will be release with his website on January 2012.
If they sold out before the web site is publish then the website will only shown Dreamcatcher deck as his portfolio.

The marketing on this deck is really confusing.  Let me get this straight....This deck is comemmorating Native American heritage....designed and sold by someone in Asia?  The 1st person to sell these on ebay lives in Indonesia and he may or may not have the cards. (I'm guessing he does or will have the cards because all anyone would have to do is file a complaint with buyer protection and get their money back!)

I think comemmorating native american doesn't have to be an american. well then again this is not this forum is all about. Maybe the seller is moving faster then us here. Or maybe the designer is an Indonesian who love and respect many world culture.

Oh, bloody hell - it's a Merz67!  He may not have designed it, but the marketing and the design are straight out of his playbook.  Slap a deck together, call it "rare" and see who takes the bait.  I'll grant it has a unique back, but those card faces are bog-standard with clip art!

NO, THANK YOU.  I PASS, IN SPADES.  Got much better things to do with fifty bucks, and I don't care if there's only ten of this deck out there.  It's not worth it.

I agree with Good@Sabacc. The front does look like the "Trace" decks.  Simple question for anybody who seems to be "in the know" about these decks. Who is producing these?
