Hi all,

I've just launched a new deck design on Kickstarter - the Arctic Playing Cards - and I'd greatly appreciate if you guys would have a look.

If successful I'll be printing with Legends Playing Card Company and all the details/art can be seen by following the link below.

I hope you like the designs and if anyone has any questions I'll be happy to answer them :)

  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.
Here are some pictures of the project. Really like the palate the designer went with.
Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

The people who handle playing cards are always in a world of delicate fingertip technology.

I'm in for a few as I like the design, but I wish that the tuck was a little more exciting :-\

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

  • Facebook:
The design is spare and simple - much like the Arctic.

Gotta be careful about precise cutting of that card back - if it's off by just a small amount, you have an obvious one-way back design.

Thanks for the support Cardfool. I appreciate your comments about the tuck as well. I tried a lot of different ideas before settling on the final design but the majority either didn't fit with the overall theme or didn't match the rest of the cards. Don's matched my thought process here as the sparse nature of the Arctic ended up influencing the design :)

I don't usually like back designs that most would consider minimalist or overly simple... but these, I like.

Kind of reminds me of the White Nautical deck's back design (the one that HOPC printed in China)... but better.

I like the theme, the faces, and the decision to go with the Emerald Finish. Nice deck :D
With this signature I'm following the example set by Fes: There is only ONE letter L in my display name. "Holly" is a female name... and I'm a bearded guy who's into weightlifting. There's nothing feminine about me brother!
