  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.

I think this deck would look good in blue, maybe even black!
Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

What are you talking about, these are totally unique and original. The Fontaines were bland and uninspired...

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

Everyone wants to join the "I made a deck in fifteen minutes and made thousands of dollars" club...

Any new, original ideas?  One can be minimalist and elegant without being derivative, though with minimalism I'll grant you it is a little more difficult than in other areas of art.

You guys just can't see the brilliance of this deck. How truly unique it is. You can't even compare it to the Fontaines, for one, it isn't as simple and boring, there is way more going on here, there are some swoops, and some little lines, and the whole image connects to itself masterfully, just brilliant design. And the red is a slightly different red color, obviously the designer chose the color without realizing another deck had a similar color.

Wait...hold on a sec...I'm feeling something at my lower leg...a gentle tugging sensation...  :))

Yeah, this kind of project is (finally) becoming a dying breed.  He's got three weeks to go and is not even 10% funded.  There's only so much minimal design people can take before they tire of it and want something more.

Issue 14 of CARD CULTURE will have an interesting piece on what the major players in playing cards think the upcoming year will hold.  Makes for a good read.  It comes out Friday for all members of 52 Plus Joker.
