Ouch. Now that you've shown the color one, there's no going back. Much prefer the color back. For the fronts, I almost prefer no color.
Then I guess you'll just have to push the project into the stretch goal area, won't you?
I'm working with Egor to help make this project a reality. He's providing the art, I'm lining up the printer and launching the Kickstarter for him. We're looking at a launch before month's end, pending getting quotes from Expert (which we're waiting on right now). The Robusto stock with this artwork is going to be an awesome combination.
The tucks will be nice as well. We have stretch goals for foil stamping and for a custom deck seal - it will look like a wax seal and the tuck box flap will be OUTSIDE of the box, giving it a real old-fashioned look. It's still a standard tuck box, though, so you can tuck the flap just fine after you've opened the box. We're using the nice synthetic paper Expert used for the Chameleons deck - seriously, that's one of my favorite tuck papers out there, practically indestructible, just like the Robusto stock, like a match made in Heaven.
I'm glad the responses are positive in general - it's making me really look forward to the launch! The project will be very simple - decks and uncuts, maybe a dealer coin to match, but that's pretty much it. It's easier to manage that way and not as expensive to produce. We'll be using a fulfillment service, probably either Gambler's Warehouse or the new service from the Guistolises over at CollectablePlayingCards.com, though there's a chance we'll be shipping direct from the Expert factory - we have to see which option is most viable and affordable.
