  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.

Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

The project is interesting - not a combination I would have thought of.

I like it but there are two things I don't like.

1) The art would have been much better done in full color, especially at $14/deck standard, $25/deck limited edition.

2) RED FLAG - the project is insanely ambitious - three different deck designs in four different tuck boxes for $35K - AND printed by USPC?  I have my doubts about the budgeting.  Plus he's saying USPC is allowing for a 1,000-deck print run on EACH deck?  Last I heard, the minimum they'll do is still 2,500.

Asked in comments, 1000 tucks as a special order for the special edition, which will be the same cards as the Burlesque Edition with a premium tuck

It's still three different decks in four different tucks - ambitious for anyone, doubly so for a first-timer, triply so because of the relatively obscure theme.  That's a TIGHT budget for that many decks, I'd think - a minimum of 7,500 decks, all totaled.

This struck me as something interesting when I saw it. The thing that turned me on it was that seemed a bit too ambitious. I do like two of the three decks being offered even though I'm a bit burned out on the skulls and have been for a couple years now. The art is quite nice and I hope it's successful.
Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

To amend my earlier statement, USPC has changed their policy yet again and are permitting people to order print runs down to a minimum of one thousand decks.  We'll see how long this lasts - they did it once before and rescinded it very quickly after.  Perhaps the new management influenced the decision?

This deck isn't my cup of tea but it's very well drawn and put together. Reminds me of the Suicide Girls..
