Hi guys,

This is our new playing cards inspired on the classic novel by Cervantes titled "The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha". It was hard to re imagine and illustrate the characters from the book but it was fun! Also, I recommend reading the book if you haven't haha it's really good and very inspiring. The book is in two volumes and for this deck we filled it with characters from the first one thus Vol. 1, Vol. 2 will be coming out this year as well. It'll be printed by LPCC on Emerald Finish. Here's the design for the cards that will be inside the Hidalgo deck. I hope you dig it!

As an owner of this deck, I just love the white tuck box, which has a beautiful and intricate design, enhanced with embossing and foil accents.  Beautiful!

I had some issues with the black cards, however.
a) The faces: black isn't consistently solid, and there are some white spots and blotches here and there.
b) The backs: one of the black borders has four white dots, identical on every single card.
Was this an issue with all these decks?

I noticed that neither of the Volume 2 decks that are currently in the works have black faced cards, so that had me wondering if this was a larger problem with all the black-faced decks of Volume 1, and was the reason for going in a different direction with Volume 2?
