Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

It's a shame they aren't offering more of the Live Edition decks in their rewards; they're not even available as add-ons.  I was thinking of getting some of both.

Oh, yeah, I nearly forgot that.  I have yet to hear a single good thing from anyone that bought a Noir Arts deck.

He almost had me sold with the face cards, love them. Lots of detail and great contrast between the white & black skeleton and the roses and thorns. But then it goes down hill. Aces seem bland and not very interesting & misses the chance to mix it up and use 3 roses for the Ace of clubs. It took me several minute to figure out the differences between the two black aces. Number cards again pretty bland, and the pips look blurry. All I can say about the back is too little with too much. The some what interesting spiral is washed out with colors that are too monochromatic, and it just looks busy. Maybe if the roses where multicolored like the face cards and tuck, the roses would stand out and pop more making the back more interesting to look at.

Similar to the live version he has only 3 poses that he then changes minor things like hair and clothes. Need to mix up the poses and faces more between the different suites.

If he went back and put as much detail and effort into the rest of the cards as he did on the courts this would be a must have deck even if it was printed by NOIR ARTS. Wonder why he didn't go back to his original printer for the Live deck?

I'm told that Noir Arts is pretty cheap - though you do get what you pay for.
