Ok so i recently acquired a deck that is sealed with a red 20 cents tax stamp on it issued by Canada i have no idea when in which their stamps came out
i know that we have tax stamps here in the US and can date decks fairly easy with them
The deck has red roses on it i can't tell the maker of the deck as the paper seal is a dark craft looking paper
Any help is greatly appreciated thank you for your time!!

Providing clear images of the deck in question would go a long way toward helping identify its manufacturing period and possibly the maker.

Based on the information in the following topic, it's likely that the deck a) has more than 54 cards in the box, assuming it's still sealed, and b) was issued between 1927-1942.

The total could be barely above 54 - all modern USPC decks have 56 cards in them; the deck, two jokers and two advertising cards.  But the fact of the Canadian 20ยข stamp would indicate that it has more than 54.
