NEW DECK - Bicycle Standard: Orange Rider Back

I'm glad they are keeping the standard boxes. It would be more obnoxious in my opinion if they only changed the color and then had a whole new box. It's not a whole new card so they don't need a new box.

I think the green would be better, but i have seen the orange elsewhere. I cannot remember where though.


I have no place in my collection for the color orange, but that is because its one of my least favorite colors.

Well there are already Turquoise & Fucshia in Standards and now Orange & Green, I guess Black may be next.

Marroon

They've made 6 of these with the new box
Blue

 Orange
 Green

I'm sure the other 6 are on the way

I dont think they should make the next 6. The new box is IMO acctually kinda nice not as nice as the rider backs but still nice BUT I dont think they should reprint all those decks. There is no sense they are all pretty much regular bicycle decks just with a different back. also for the people who dont like when a company puts out 2 of the same design in different colors, What do you think of this! 12 decks all the same thing pretty much I dont think is neccisary.

Some of the colors you listed weren't orders from USPC - for example, I read this on the Playing Card Wiki:

The Green, Orange, Gold, Silver, Turquoise and Fuschia Rider Back were produced by italian Vincenzo Di Fatta, who also have produced a Rainbow Rider Back.
The Yellow and Burgundy/Maroon Rider Backs were produced by the Bond Agency.
The Brown Rider Backs were produced by Brooke Michael's Pokerworld.

However, it looks like some of these "custom order" colors are already being released in the new boxes, so anything's possible, I guess.  Unless DiFatta is simply reordering his customs - all the new ones besides red and blue were originally produced by DiFatta.

USPC is still selling its Cincinnati stock of the Black Bikes - I've been getting them in a four-deck set from Walgreen's comprised of two Standard reds and two Poker blacks.  The black deck is exclusive to that set - all the individual blacks selling out there came from those sets.  It's kind of funny - the set sells for $12 unless it's on sale, and I usually see the Blacks selling for $5 or more...

Sorry, what I meant is that there are only 12 color variations on the original Rider Back box.  I didn't mean they were all printed for USPCC direct. 

Either way, I would imagine DiFatta is just doing a change over... in turn selling more decks to obsessive people like me

I wonder if BMPokerworld will do the same with the brown Rider Back
