I didn't look closely enough at the brand name to see "Gaff Assortment" on the box!

I know about this deck - if memory serves, it's something Kevin Reylek put together privately rather than under the auspices of the Blue Crown.  One of these days I'll get around to ordering a pack.

The Porcelain deck has some embossing on the front - the Bicycle logo and the koi fish.

Special package arrive today from encarded. Standard aurum and 1 of 2 mispackaged decks sold and a gold signature from the man himself Paul Carpenter.

So I finally picked up the Bicycle/Zippo gift set, I've wanted to get that thing for a looong time now! Got two of them.
I also picked up one of those Bicycle Seconds in the hope of getting some funny cards, but all of them look perfect, I just can't figure out why these are seconds, but nevermind.

Lastly I tried a lucky bag that contained 5 different decks. I got a Playboy Special Edition Playing Cards (2005), a Piatnik StarClub, Modiano Plastic Cards, a Bicycle Black/Grey that I can't remember the name of, and lasty a Bee Jumbo Index

Overall I'm happy enough with the stuff that I got.
Btw, the back of that Modiano is actually pretty nice!

Got my Zeniths and they're lovely.  Plenty of pics here so I'll share something else.  All the decks pictured are duplicates except for the Multimillers and the Black Bee Cardistry, but this was such a nice haul to come in one box I thought I would share it.

Wow - that's interesting.  You're right that the original printing was with a barcode.  There must have been a new printing.  I remember being told that the original was a custom order from an unknown magician and only released for sale at first to magic stores, then eventually deck retailers.

If it was a different print run ordered by a different party, it's possible they didn't want to go through the expense of having a barcode registered with the UPC people.  It costs money to get a code registered with them.  In addition, the original intent of the UPC barcode was to allow for scanning products you'd find in a grocery store.  This deck is never sold at grocery stores.
