Here is where I'm at right now, 26 decks shy of where I want to be. Upper left hand is Jackson's Sherlock. Middle box under my mixed up D&D V7 is an Oracle brick.
I am truly jealous of some of yous guys's collections but am Excited to be well on my way there.

We all start somewhere Justin, looking fantastic so far  ;)

I just got these from Brain Vessel, was really looking forward to them, have a few more odds and ends coming from them, but here is the 1st couple.

Good finds.  I've been meaning to look for some of those Imperials for a while now.

My most recent acquisition: Tally Ho Circle Back in red and blue from the local produce shop Thursday.  Oddly enough, they're open 24/7 on a tiny side street off of a major thoroughfare.  $3 a pack.  Woo AND hoo.  :))

Ya, a few of those have come and gone more than once, the right opportunity finally presented itself..........patience is a virtue  ;)

.........some nice Tally Ho Circle and Fan backs are on the list Don, my "Heavy" list is actually pretty short now, so I can start to pick up some of the "Simpler" pleasures, lol

But the bookcase is already filling up, lol

Wow! How many decks do you have now?
When you get into a hobby, you don't just dive right in. You drain the pool first.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

LOL, 185 unique decks. Honestly Rob your right, I do jump in with both feet, but I've paced myself and like I mentioned, waited for the right opportunity. A lot of stuff in trades or sales and even group buys to save a little. I have one number I keep an eye on, I have a spread sheet with an "Average Per Deck" cost and I'm at $8.00........as long as that stays below $10.00, I'm a happy camper  ;)

I'm no veteran by any means, but I've told many a collector to take a deep breath and control your hobby, don't let it control you  ;) You can find what your looking for at a reasonable price if you have a little patience.

Sparkz, I'll tell you what I can do. I would double your money- $16 for the blue deck in the middle bottom.  :t11:

The bottle was pretty cheap. It's not a Jamie Grant. This one is pretty easy to see were it's cut. Still pretty cool- can't complain for what I paid.
Anyone that has one of Jamie's-can you see the cut line?

What cut line?  Anyone with the right tools can cut a bottle in half and reseal it - but his don't have any cut lines!  Far trickier to assemble, and thus more costly but so much nicer.  It's why he calls his bottle "Anything Is Possible" - it shows you something that should be impossible, but it's right there before your eyes and in your hands.  He sources his bottles from nearby dairy farms.

Arrived this morning  :)
With this signature I'm following the example set by Fes: There is only ONE letter L in my display name. "Holly" is a female name... and I'm a bearded guy who's into weightlifting. There's nothing feminine about me brother!

Figured I'd jump in here with my recent Kickstarter rewards. The Origins are insane. Like a better looking cousin of the medallions.  Also quite happy with my first signed deck!

That would be the A Bandit deck. Bit quirky with some custom courts and a nice back.

Ohhhh, you know I've heard of them, even seen the backs, I don't think I've ever seen the tuck  :P

Thanks!

The story behind the deck is that it was made exclusively for a performance art project in (I think) the LA area from a couple of years ago.  When the show ended, it would seem that they sought to sell off the extra decks at wholesale.

A while in the making but I'm happy with the end result. Relatively cheap frame from ikea but looks decent.

Thanks for the info Don, and apparently D&D picked up a few because I remember where I saw them now..........Art of Play  ;)

@Afrank..........Nice little project there, could be a good use of Ad cards  :)

Most were ad cards but I had to sacrifice a few jokers here and there to get the end result.

My newest decks are in there somewhere. This is 98% of the individual decks I have. The shelving I've had for years (that crap is expensive, so it's been with me for 4 student houses now) and I figured I'd put it to good use. It's a work in progress.
